POPIS KURZU MBA in Information Systems
This 19-month life long education program of weekend study (2 weekends per month) leads to a Master's of Business Administration (MBA) double degree from the University of New York in Prague, and from the Institut Universitaire Kurt Bösch. You will take a core set of 9 courses providing you with a solid foundation in international business and then 4 additional courses in Management of Information Systems
Prior to the start of the MBA program, UNYP provides, free of charge, a pre-MBA workshop in the principles of finance, accounting, marketing and management to ensure that you begin your studies well-prepared and on an equitable level with your fellow classmates.
Our next MBA cohort begins in October 2010.

The MIS concentration route is ideal for those seeking an indepth knowlegde of information techmology to supplement their general business knowledge. It is ideal for preparing students for a senior position within the IT community. It is also ideal for students looking to establish their own companies or business operations. The focus subjects build on the core subjects to provide comprehensive IT knowledge.
Apart from the core subjects, students complete courses in the following focus areas
- IT for Competitive Advantage
- Electronic Commerce
- Telecommunications Management
- Knowledge Management
Consultancy Project
After completing the course, students undertake the role of an internal or external consultant and investigate a business problem with the aim of arriving at a fesiable solution to the problem originally identified.
